UNESCO Is considering the inscription of Spain´s Mediterranean landscape as World Heritage for the Plasencia-Monfrague-Trujillo Triangle. The World Heritage Committee is holding its meeting until  6 July, in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. During these days, it will consider the inscription of 36 sites on the World Heritage List.

This region is Biosphere Reserve since 2003, the park is north of Trujillo and runs from east to west along the valley of the River Tagus.

If you like bird-watching activities, you already know this area of the World as a designated European Special Protection Area for bird-life.and an outstanding site for the world’s largest breeding concentration of Eurasian Black Vulture.
